Coaching sessions

Having learnt and taught with many top vocal coaches and have a well-rounded understanding of the voice, and having worked extensively on audition panels and as an audition pianist I have a lot of insight into the ‘other side of the table’ which I can use to help you make the most of that time you get in front of a casting team. I offer three slightly difference coaching services to make sure you get exactly what you want out of our time together. All these services are available via Zoom as well as in-person:

1) Audition prep - 30 minutes £20 - Getting you ready for your forthcoming audition, be it for a show or drama college. Sessions will include, as desired: choosing appropriate song choices; choosing effective cuts; learning and refining vocally; help on how to interact with your pianist on the day; learning and perfecting audition sides; technical advice on vocally tricky corners
2) Rep consultation and audition advice - 30 minutes £20 - Anytime and anywhere - no singing required. Sit down for a coffee and chat. Perhaps you want to take your career in a new direction, feel you struggle to show your best in the room, or think there must be better songs for you out there. I’ll help you find those songs and find that direction and send you on your way with a plan.
3) Full vocal session - 60 minutes £40 - Whilst also including elements of the above if desired, this is a full hour focusing on vocal technique and performance, be that with a specific performance or goal in mind or simply for ongoing vocal and musical traning.

As a rep and vocal coach I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients coming from all performance backgrounds. I’ve taken clients round-by-round through successful audition processes for West End shows (Les Miserables, Beautiful, Motown) and UK tours, regularly teach students at colleges across London (Mountview, Bird College, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Associated Studios), and I have enjoyed helping many new-to-singing actors and dancers make the transition into musical theatre.

Workshops

I also offer group workshops for both adults and children, with all levels of experience. Recently I’ve worked with young people at Stagebox, North Wall Arts Centre and various other theatre groups, and worked with adults in the corporate world as part of team-building and confidence-building excercises at McKinsey & Co and Kinnevik.
